Red Travel offers a taste of the very finest in Italian living, combined with an unforgettable Ferrari driving experience. Red Travel events are dedicated to the discovery of our complete Ferrari stable (Ferrari F430 F1, Ferrari F430 Spider F1, Ferrari 430 Scuderia F1, Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano F1, Ferrari 612 Scaglietti F1) offering the opportunity to get to know each of the latest models whilst enjoying the exhilaration of driving them personally on some of the most beautiful roads in Italy. Travelling in groups of 10 or more cars and with our skilled staff on hand to assist, our completely personalised tours offer the utmost in pure driving pleasure.

A Ferrari experience can be combined with several options, from cultural programmes (private visits to palaces and museums) to wellness choices (spa treatments) and leisure activities (cooking lessons, wine tasting or team building activities).

We are able to accommodate small parties of 6 people as well as larger groups of up to 100, for one to four day journeys or events. Since each group possesses its own unique characteristics, Red Travel designs tailor-made solutions to completely satisfy specific requirements. Previous participants include such prestigious companies as Siemens, Nokia, Martini & Rossi, JP Morgan, IBM and many others.

Suggestion: Hotels Starwood (Emerald Coast, Sardinia). Like four precious gems located in unique settings, Hotels Starwood are perfect locations for departing in Ferrari for a tour of this luxurious and exclusive area of Sardinia. Hotel Romazzino, Hotel Pitrizza, Hotel Cervo and Hotel Cala di Volpe will give you pleasant souvenirs of the Emerald Coast.

DAY 1: DISCOVERING THE EMERALD COAST

Afternoon

• Red Travel has chosen the Emerald Coast, this grandiose and fascinating location as the starting point of your Ferrari experience!

  The Emerald Coast, with enchanting beaches and a system of villages built according to an extremely detailed urban plan. The area is a luxurious tourist destination, with highly affluent European and Arabian VIPs visiting from entertainment, politics and industry.

• Arrival at Olbia Costa Smeralda International Airport and private transfer to your hotel Starwood (see suggestions below).
  
  
• 17.00: Upon arrival at the hotel, guests will be served a welcome cocktail in the beautiful scenario of the hotel, whilst enjoying a stunning Ferrari display in a private area reserved exclusively for the group.
  
  
• 18.30: Full Ferrari briefing

  Our English speaking Red Travel Tour Director, an expert Ferrari driver, will brief the group on how to drive the different Ferrari models. He will present the full Ferrari range; explain the difference between the various models (Ferrari F430 F1, Ferrari F430 Spider F1, Ferrari 430 Scuderia F1, Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano F1, Ferrari 612 Scaglietti F1) and the engines (8-cylinder and 12-cylinder) and most importantly, give guidance on how to handle the F1 paddle-gear shifting behind the steering wheel.

Evening

• Transfer for dinner.

DAY 2: ENCHANTING SARDINIA

Morning

• In the beautiful scenario of the hotel, you will enjoy the 10 Ferraris displayed in a private area reserved just for the group.
  
  
• Before departure, our Tour Director, connected by mobile radio system, will hold a second complete briefing with the guests once settled inside the Ferraris.
  
  
• Ferrari driving experience
  
  
• Departure by Ferrari for a tour of north Sardinia.

  The group will drive the Ferraris for a full day on the beautiful roads of the Emerald Coast and north Sardinia.

  Our Tour Director leads the convoy at the wheel of his Alfa Romeo Brera 3.2, guiding the Ferraris along the most exciting hilly and curving roads, carefully selected by Red Travel, passing Arzachena and Palau to reach Santa Teresa di Gallura. A further three support cars (with mechanics) will follow the convoy to ensure safety and to assist the group drivers if necessary. Each team member is connected to the rest of the group and to Red Travel staff by means of a powerful radio system.

• Halt in Palau for a coffee facing the wonderful landscape offered by La Maddalena Island.

  The roads carefully selected by Red Travel ensure maximum driving pleasure while enjoying the beautiful landscape of Gallura area and of its limpid sea. Whilst driving, our guests will be able to enjoy the outstanding scenario offered by Sardinia, characterized for a beautiful natural landscape that offers an overwhelming feast for the eyes.

• The tour continues in direction of Santa Teresa di Gallura where you will stop for a visit of the town and for lunch.
  
  
• 13.00: Arrival in Santa Teresa di Gallura. The town is built in the narrow natural inlet of the Porto Longonsardo, while its territory is characterized by uneven coasts, already settled in Roman era.
  
  
• Lunch in Santa Teresa di Gallura. Restaurant suggestion: S’Andira

  This restaurant, characterized for a rustic but elegant atmosphere, is worth finding for seafood under the sky.

Afternoon

• After lunch a short visit is due to Capo Testa, a rock connected to the dry land by a long sand stripe, reachable through a panoramic route open on the two bays of Colba and Santa Reparata.
  
  
• 15.00: Departure and driving back towards Porto Cervo and the Emerald Coast along the panoramic roads of north Sardinia.

  Discovery of the picturesque and breathtaking panorama offered by the sea cliff and headlands, enriched by pure driving pleasure on an amazing succession of rolling hills and never- ending curves!

  At the wheel of his Alfa Romeo, Red Travel Tour Director guides you through this vivid itinerary made of typical towns and villages, whose charming appeal expresses the very soul of Sardinia.

• During the tour will be scheduled a halt around 16.00 for a break, and to allow the switch between driver and passenger, if they wish to.
  
  
• 18.00: Arrival at your hotel in the Emerald Coast.

  Each participant will receive a DVD with high-resolution images of the day. Time at disposal for all guests.

Evening

• Dinner at your hotel high-end restaurant, so to allow you having some free time to enjoy the nightlife in Porto Cervo and the Emerald Coast.

DAY 3: ARRIVEDERCI ITALIA!

Morning

• From 8am, a buffet breakfast is served in the restaurant or if guests prefer, can be taken in their room.

  Time at disposal for swimming and sunbathing.

• After checkout, private transfer for dining in one of the island’s best restaurants.
  
  
• Lunch in Olbia. Restaurant suggestion: Gallura (1 Michelin star).

  In one of the most historical restaurants of whole Sardinia, chefs Rita Denza and Arnaldo Pascal use “fruits of sea” only from the Sardinian coast, and local herbs from the region in their typical soups and flavoured goat. Also, you may want to try her eel in traditional “carpione”, an authentic Sardinian dish. However, even with their “local-only” products, their proposals are new and stimulating. There is a great wine list of Sardinian labels too.

• After lunch, private transfer to Olbia Costa Smeralda International Airport for your return flight and the end of the activities.

Special authorisation to enter city centres, normally prohibited to motor vehicles, will allow our guests to park their top cars right in the heart of the towns we visit.
  
  
• Any problems are managed by our specialised team (including our own mechanics), using four support cars to assist the group in all eventualities throughout the day, in order to ensure total safety and maximum driving pleasure during the tours.
