Red Travel Tours are unique journeys, individually created for you to fully experience the Italian Way of Life. Each journey is a sublime blend of art, fashion, architecture, gastronomy and spectacular scenery.
Our guests will feel part of a real Ferrari team, enjoying the opportunity to personally drive the very latest models. Travelling for kilometres, accelerating through the steep, winding roads of Lazio, Umbria and Tuscany, along the route of the legendary Mille Miglia race, putting their driving skills to the ultimate test.
As a relaxing contrast to the exhilaration of driving a Ferrari, our journeys include wellness programmes at the Fonteverde Natural Spa Resort, a world-class spa hotel located in the midst of the rolling hills of the Val d’Orcia.
Behind the scenes, Red Travel staff take complete care of the Ferraris. Every morning, our guests will find their car at the entrance of the hotel, clean and polished, refuelled and fully checked, ready to begin another day of exciting driving through further dazzling landscapes.
3 Days Milan & Como Lake Ferrari Tour
DAY 1: Welcome to Milan, the Italian capital of fashion and shopping
Afternoon
- You will be met at Milan – Linate (or Malpensa) International Airport and transferred by limousine to the five-star luxury Hotel of your choice in Milan.
- Check-in and accommodation in double deluxe room (or Junior Suite).
- Time at disposal for shopping or for a guided tour of Milan (upon request).
Milan, the financial heart of the country, has got an energetic pace that matches its skyscrapered counterparts in the rest of the world. Yet the Italian eye for beauty and style never dims. Milan, however, is not only fashion and business. Art is also of outstanding relevance: during the Renaissance, the dynastic Visconti and Sforza families commissioned art that endured long beyond their political intrigues. Among many familiar art masterpieces, Milan is home to Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper. Indeed, architecture too is relevant in Milan: its captivating, 14th century gothic rose-marbled Il Duomo Cathedral is second in size only to Rome’s St. Peter’s, but exceeding it in grandeur. The adjacent, famed Galleria - probably the world’s most elegant shopping mall - leads into what is surely the world’s most illustrious Opera House, La Scala.

DAY 2: Discovering Como Lake by Ferrari
Route: Milan - Cernobbio - Bellagio - Lecco - Milan
Morning
- After breakfast pick-up at your hotel in Milan and meeting with your Red Travel Tour Director.
Your private Tour Director, an expert Ferrari driver, will clarify the finer details of the controls of your Ferrari, he will introduce you into the world of Ferrari, explaining the differences between the various models (Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, Ferrari 430 Scuderia and 430 Spider, Ferrari 612 Scaglietti) and peculiarities of the engines (8-cylinder or 12-cylinder), above all how to handle the F1 paddle-gear shifting behind the steering wheel.
- During the briefing a welcome coffee will be offered to the guests.
- Departure by Ferrari towards Como Lake.
- After a short Ferrari practice-drive, you will leave by Ferrari heading towards Como Lake. Our Tour Director leads the way at the wheel of his Alfa Romeo Brera 3.2, guiding your Ferrari along the panoramic roads of one of Italy’s most beautiful lakes. During the whole journey, the Ferrari and the Tour Director’s Alfa Romeo will be constantly in touch by mobile radio system.
Pleasant drive along the panoramic and enchanting roads of the Como Lake. Whilst driving, our guests will be able to enjoy the outstanding scenario offered by the Lake, characterized for a beautiful natural landscape that offers an overwhelming feast for the eyes. The roads carefully selected by Red Travel ensure maximum driving pleasure while enjoying the beautiful landscape of Como Lake and its surroundings.
- 11.30: Halt in Cernobbio, an elegant tourist village known worldwide for its villas, for a drink at glamorous Villa d’Este and to allow the switch between drivers and passengers, if they wish to.
Set on the shores of Como Lake, Villa d’Este is located in one of the most important crossroads between Italy and Northern Europe. As Herb Caen stated about the Villa, « the precise location of heaven on earth has never been established but it may very well be right here.»
- 13.30: Arrival in Bellagio, with its many suburbs scattered on the hills overlooking both the southeastern and southwestern branches of Como Lake.
- Lunch in Bellagio. Restaurant suggestion: Villa Serbelloni (1 Michelin star).

- After breakfast, checkout and private guided visit of Milan’s architectonical beauties (upon request), as well as of its famous vogue boutiques. As an alternative, time at disposal for shopping or visiting on your own.
- Lunch in the centre of Milan.
Afternoon
- After lunch, private transfer to Milan – Linate (or Malpensa) International Airport for your return flight and the end of the activities.
