Location

Situated on the shores of Lake Geneva in the heart of Ouchy, La Residence is as well known for its gourmet dining as it is for its idyllic setting. This unique and beautiful Hotel occupies three Historic Buildings dating from the 18th and 19th Centuries. Originally a Private Home, it later became a young ladies' boarding school. Today, an intimate fire-warmed Lobby and a wealth of personal touches continue the homely theme. Outside, cool and shade Terraces invite relaxed contemplation of the lake and mountains and also provide a lovely venue in which to enjoy some memorable cuisine.

The Hotel consists of 24 individually decorated Guest Rooms and 11 Junior Suites, all beautifully appointed with fine quality lines and drapes, tasteful furnishings and personal touches that evoke the atmosphere of a private home.

All the Rooms & Suites have been fully renovated and feature Pay Television, Cable Television / CNN, Internet Television Access, Modem Plugs, Air Conditioning, International Direct Dial Telephone, Radio, Safe Boxes, Razor Electrical Socket, Smoke Alarms, Turn Down Service and Mini Bar. Many have Balconies and some Rooms on the Ground Floor have small Terraces. Also, Superb Bathrooms are featured throughout and most of the Rooms afford delightful Views over the pretty Gardens and Courtyards or on to Lake Geneva itself.
