Location

The Park Hotel Alder is located in an idyllic setting in the middle of a 40,000 sq. metres of a private Park belonging to the Hotel with romantic pathways, a small Lake and a game enclosure. It has its own Helicopter landing pad and as far as we know, it was the only Hotel in the world with its own 80-metre ski jump. Two years ago the Hotel donated the ski jump to the local community.

Anyone who has become acquainted with Hinterzarten in summer will love it in winter. A thick white covering of show blankets the earth and icicles hang like crystals from the branches. The Hotel offers great comfort and a warm welcome. Excellent pistes and tracks, both for the beginner and the expert can be found in Hinterzarten.

Food and Beverage

The Chef's at the Park Hotel Adler are not content with merely preparing superb meals from the very best ingredients. They conjure up traditional Black Forest dishes, a light Mediterranean cuisine and of course sumptuous individual creations. Let our Kitchen become a unique experience for you. The Hotel has various Restaurant facilities each with a distinctive character and reflecting a different historical period, for example the cosy Stube from the year 1639, the Grill with its antique wooden interior, the Club with its comfortable niche, the Breakfast Pavilion, the French Restaurant with its atmosphere of elegance and the rustic Adler Wirtshus for regional specialties and small delicacies. On Sundays the traditional and very popular "Tea Dance" takes place in the Adler Bar and in the French Restaurant with cake from the Hotel's own Patisserie and Dance Music played by Luciano. During the season there is also Live Music in the evenings in the Adler Bar.

In the rustic Adler Wirtshus Restaurant the menu includes many regional specialties of the Black Forest. The Schwarzwaldhaus, Black Forest House, built in 1639 is where you will spend your stay if you have booked the Black Forest Package which consists of two days of quality, nostalgia and tradition.

The cosy Stube dates back to the year 1639 and with its antique wooden furniture and its comfortable niches invites one to enjoy a sumptuous meal. A varied Wine Menu with First Class regional Wines from Kaiserstuhl or from the Markgrafler Land rounds out the culinary event.

Room Info

The Hotel consists of 45 Single & Double Rooms and 33 Junior Suites and Suites with a total capacity of 150 Beds. Each of the Rooms has its own individual layout. There are little bays, nooks, idyllic conservatories and antiques to discover, many of which have been part of Park Hotel Adler since its beginnings. You will find elegant Rooms for ladies and Suites with walk-in Wardrobes. Not only the service, but also the interiors have been chosen with loving care.

The Teen Room is a somewhat smaller Room under the Roof. With its view of the Schwarzwaldhaus, Black Forest House, is especially charming and just a little nostalgic.

The individually decorated Single Room, equipped with French Bed, Marble Bathroom, antique Writing Table and Armchair, overlooking the Schwarzwaldhaus, Black Forest House.

The marble Bathroom with tub in the Double Room plus the comfortable accommodation with a Balcony over looking the over 350-year-old Schwarzwaldhaus, Black Forest House, invites you to relax.

The light and airy Junior Suite is equipped with two Bathrooms, 1 Shower & 1 Bath and a Balcony overlooking the new Wellness Pavilion and the Park. The Living and sleeping quarters are integrated with elegant furniture and a large antique Writing Table.

One of the largest Suites in the House with small vestibule, spacious Living Room with Sofa and Armchairs, separate Bedroom and two generous marble Bathrooms. The antique Writing Desk, two Television Sets, Balcony overlooking the Park and the new Wellness Pavilion plus the sumptuous accommodations help rid one of those "There's no place like home" feelings.
